MANGELSEN—Images of Nature Gallery

The MANGELSEN—Images of Nature Gallery has been located on Park City’s Historic Main Street for nearly 30 years, making us one of the oldest galleries in town. We are proud members of the Park City Gallery Association. What started as an historic silver mining town during the late 1800’s, Park City has now become one of the best known ski resort towns in the world. Located in the Wasatch Mountains just 37 miles east of Salt Lake City International airport we have three world–class resorts, over 25 hotels, and more than 100 restaurants to choose from. Due to the proximity of the Great Salt Lake, our snow is some of the driest, fluffiest powder found anywhere in the world. Park City was also recently named as the only Gold Level Ride Center in the world according to the International Mountain Bicycling Association. Winter brings a wonderland for skiers and snowboarders from around the world. Don’t feel like skiing or boarding? No worries! Pamper yourself at one of our local spas, shop the galleries and boutiques on Main Street, snowmobile in the Uinta Mountains, or put on a pair of snowshoes to explore our mountain scenery. Summer brings warm days and cool nights. Try fly fishing in the local rivers. Look for local moose while hiking and biking our spectacular mountain trails. Take in an outdoor concert while enjoying some Utah grown produce from one of our Farmer’s Markets. When you are in town be sure to stop into the gallery to see the newest images and the beauty of our natural world as seen through the eyes of legendary photographer Thomas D. Mangelsen. We look forward to seeing you soon.
